Subscribers also benefit from special discounts on selected non-subscription performances. Subscription Prices
Concession subscription rates are available to pensioners, unemployed, and full-time students. For each concession seat requested, photocopied proof of eligibility must accompany the booking form. Anyone aged 36 or under may apply for an OPERA36 discount subscription. Applicants must supply photocopied proof of correct age at the time of booking. Children are eligible for OPERA36 subscriptions, and concession single tickets.

For non-subscription performances, prices are as per single ticket prices except where a special discount applies as shown on the subscription form.
Important Information
Cast and repertoire may be subject to change. State Opera advises that performances of opera may be unsuitable for children seven years of age and under. State Opera reserves the right of admittance. Latecomers will not be admitted into the theatre until a suitable break in the performance. Sometimes this may not be until the interval. Lost tickets – Please call BASS on 131 246 to arrange a lost ticket replacement. Replacement tickets are non-exchangeable. General Admission tickets cannot be replaced. Prices include BASS processing fee and GST where applicable. All sales are final. Refunds are not available. More Subscription Information
Renewing Subscribers
You will receive a renewal form in the mail. Please use your renewal form as it will assure priority processing. If you have not received a form, please call (08) 8205 2200.
Ticket Exchanges
Subscription tickets may be exchanged in person or by mail for another performance of the same production up to 24 hours prior to the performance. A small exchange fee will be charged per ticket.
Payment Options
Subscriptions may be paid in 2 instalments. Available only by credit card; car parks and add-on performances are paid in full with first instalment. If you would like to pay in 2 instalments, please call us on (08) 8226 4790. Sitting with friends If you wish to subscribe with friends please mail your booking forms in the same envelope, stapled together with a note requesting that the seats be allocated together.
How subscriptions are processed
Applicants are processed in the following order:
Renewing Subscribers
Subscribers renewing without changes to their seating requirements will receive their tickets in the mail. Applications received after 22 November may not be allocated their usual seats in the Festival Theatre. Renewing subscribers requesting changes will be processed in order of receipt from 22 November.
New Subscribers
Applications from new members will be processed from 6 December in strict order of receipt. New subscribers will receive their tickets in the mail as soon as their application is processed.
