Our newest venue
The magic happens in the old Clipsal building in Bowden, just outside of the CBD. In conjunction with Renewal SA, Plant 4 have buffed and polished this relic to act as a canvas for a weekly rotation of fresh produce and maker markets and functions. But for three nights in October, it will be transformed into the perfect stage for our new production of Dido and Aeneas.
The layout allows music to ascend above you and the other audience members spread throughout the space as part of the set. With cabaret-style seating, Plant 4 allows any production to break down the traditional barrier between audience and performer.
Arrive early for a pre-show dining experience upstairs with a wide variety of gourmet eateries and Plant 4’s main bar.
Then, 30 minutes before the performance, take drinks and nibbles to your table – enjoy a variety of local beers, wines, gins along with a cheese or dessert platter while enjoying the opera.
